Crack is the organiser.. and he wants to play Ile De Montreal.. so off east we go!.. again!.. hopefully he's booked the Ireland course, unlike the f*(k up by lemur a few weeks ago..
Lemur, Crack and Papa are braving the elements.. Grand Par dropped out due to having a sinus resembling the Metropolitan at 830am on a Monday morning..
yes.. we're on the Ireland.. Rain is due.. but it's not here yet ! Start on teh 10th.. play most of the 10th.. then oh.. we're not playing the 10th.. back to the 1st.. blowing a gale in your face (no.. not like THAT!).. i mean a strong wind !.
Here's a synopsis of the weather conditions...
Wind.. then rain.. then more rain.. the rain with wind, then rain with wind , with extra wind caused by Crack.. then sun!.. then wind.
lowlight.. hitting a 6 iron for a 120 yard shot.. hitting it well.. and comeing up 20 yards short..
highlight.. Crack hitting the 200 yard parker pole on the 13th and almost decapitating himself.. OK.. its only funny coz he missed.. his next shot from 20 yards further back from deep rough was damned good !

We all sucked.. Actually Shroom was pretty good.. and Dr Dolittle was doing ok.. but.. Gazebo sprayed it everywhere.. and lemur went in the same dirction.. off the hozel of his wedges.. Not a great one..

A leisurely round on the Don quichotte ... apart fromt eh fact it wasnt leisurely.. it was a grind.. but fun !. Nothing much to report.. i cant actually remember much from the round.. apart from the 6th.. with none of us doing very well..

Dag is a bit wayward today.. but got it on the fairway once in a while (a different fairway). Lemur is shankaroo.. again.

Alice, Crack, Grand par, Papa Hicks, Dagenator, Roofer, lemur... and someone else who hasnt posted a score on OOB !.. 2 tee times filled.. and our first time on the new course.. A few good rounds scored today!..
2nd April - Ile De Montreal
Crack , Grand Par and Lemur head to the east end for the first Montreal TGA Tour match of the season.. Its a round at the tough Ireland course at Ile De Montreal.. or.. it would be if Lemur could click on a website correctly!. So.. its a game at the never-played Ile course for the chaps. The weather is a little cool, but the prospect of it heating to 25C has Grand Par (well.. he doesnt count coz he wears shorts in winter!), and Crack showing off their pins. Lemur decides to let the crowds not get too excited.
The course is in great shape for the start of the year, and the chaps make it look easy.. (yeah rite). Highlights of the round include...
Grand Par hitting a stiffy into the green at 7, leaving a three foot putt.. which he made of course. Did you even doubt him??. It truely was a Grand Par..
Crack hits a fat wedge on 9 into the water.. and Lemur decides not to leave him lonely .. and follows him straight in.
Lemur does his usual and wakes up on the back 9, scoring 5 consecutive 4's, then 2 pars.. then a double.. then a quintuple!... cough.. splutter.. he seems to be CHOKING on something!

13th March - International 2000 - Race to the Border 2K10!
The race is on !. Lemur, Grand par and Dagenator speed south on the Lacolle expressway heading for the course that welcomes the TGA Tour ant the Start and end of every year.. The course has been open a week already, and the TGA Tour FAILED to get there, but all is now well.. The TGA Tour 2K10 season is underway !. Highlights of the game..
On arrival at the course, Dag has brought along breakfast for 3 !. Some piping hot (well.. warm... ish) porridge. GP and Lemur conclude he's trying to bring some good karma on to the tour having seen success on the Orlando Slamma a few days before.
We're joined by a local making up the foursome. I cant remember his name, so we'll call him Tarquil for now. Anyway, he would have easily been forgotten, except for Grand Par thinning a wedge right through the green and hitting him directly on the ankle. Lemur spends the rest of the game cursing GP that he has to be nice to him, despite his continued references to lawyers and compensation.
Dagenator decides that he may be related to Jesus himself, and adopts the Canadian version of walking on water...twice. The first attempt nearly took off Lemur's head after he attempted to film the recovery shot from the lake. The ball hitting the bank and rebounding sideways to a spot (out of the lake), and fifteen feet behind his starting point.
The second was even more extreme. The 18th hole, and his ball is , well.. in the middle of the lake. Dag tiptoes out to the ball, plays it from the lake, lands it a few feet from the green. well struck?.. yes.. mad as a hatter?.. yes. Good work Dag.. a true TGA Tour pro if ever i saw one.
